The Finance and Accounts Branch contributes to the Departmental aims and objects through the effective management and administration of the Department's finances and ensures that financial regulatory policies stipulated in the Public Financial Management Act are complied with and adhered to. The Branch ensures that the Executive Management is updated on financial information so that informed decisions can be made. It also ensures that the submission of Annual Budgets to the Department of Finance and Treasury meet deadlines, and that monthly cash flow are coordinated in a timely manner. In addition, The Branch ensures that all the Departmental Assets are registered and accounted for, and that the procurement of goods and services adhere to regulations.
